What to expect
Clinical Nutritionists maintain a philosophy that emphasizes wellness and optimal health, and includes a combination of dietary modulation, lifestyle modifications, and use of adjunctive modalities such as nutritional supplements and herbs.
Clinical Nutritionists also utilize functional laboratory testing, not for the purpose of diagnosing disease, but to establish optimal versus sub-optimal levels of function in the body as it relates to nutritional status.

I am a functionally trained Clinical Nutritionist and Registered Nurse
who has experienced healing through nutrition first hand.
my clinical background
I have a unique skillset as a Registered Nurse and a Certified Nutrition Specialist. This means I understand both the allopathic model as well as the functional medicine one so know what you’ve been through as a patient in the traditional healthcare system and I understand why you may be feeling like it has let you down. I have also been the patient, so I understand the frustration of trying to find answers and I have established a proven process to stop chasing symptoms and start nourishing your body with what it needs to experience vibrant wellness.
As a nutritionist I am trained in biochemistry, advanced pathophysiology, nutritional assessment, functional laboratory evaluation, botanical medicine, and evidence based nutritional practice. I specialize in navigating root causes of gut dysfunction and chronic illness, and I have a particular interest in autoimmunity and biotoxin illness (mold, Lyme, co-infections), where I have completed additional training.
the embolden mission
I focus on a client-centered and completely individualized approach, caring for you as a whole, not in segmented specializations. My mission is to instill you with hope and equip you with the necessary tools to help your body heal itself.
My approach is simple- Nourish, Digest, and Detoxify. Through these three principles I teach you how to remove the things that are keeping you sick and tired and to replace the things that the body needs to function optimally to restore balance and return to homeostasis.
